Service Information
Updated 30.07.2010

New e-mail settings have been applied in order to curb the growing incidents of mail being rejected due to full mailboxes. All accounts will now automatically delete from the Inbox anything older than 180 days. These items can be found in the Deleted Items folder, which will also automatically trim itself down to 5MB whenever it reaches 10MB.

Keeping you informed!

Where has the last year gone? I never did get round to fixing that RSS feed, did I? A new and improved website will appear here, one day... in the meantime, there's always the blog to look at...

# welcome, welcome, welcome home to hamletweb #
Updated 1.7.07

Welcome to HamletWeb 2.0!
(Well, it's fashionable to call web stuff "2.0" at the moment, isn't it. I'm probably up to "Hamletweb 6.38.0002a" or something but the main thing is, the site's back up, and besides, it's gone 2am and I'm well past caring.)
Before this site went live properly, I intended to do a number of things such as:

  • Adding page titles to the pages - sadly, more complicated than it looks because until I fix it, the page header gets compiled before the page title is read from the database, but because 've bothered to list this I've somehow managed to convince myself I'll get round to fixing it someday - but I went 'live' anyway

  • Finding some content instead of grumbling about how I've probably bitten off more than I can chew by installing a CMS all in VBScript instead of learning PHP like the rest of the civilised world

  • Stopping bulleted lists from spilling over into the navbar.. doh

Well, 0 out of three is - erm - absolutely appalling...
